Looking for a Supersurfacer in US.
I know these are rare and few and far between in the U.S. Anyone know where they might be available? Or better yet, a lumber vendor who might be willing to use it to cut some veneer for from a flat blank (to reduce waste from my usual bandsaw cut stuff).
(for reference, I want to plane some of my own yosegi style veneer)

The only supersurfacers I have seen will cut a nice surface on a board, but they only remove shavings, nothing as thick as veneer. You would still need to resaw the veneer on your bandsaw, and somehow finish the othger side. A supersurfacer wont work on something as thin as veneer.
The best way I know to make thin stock is to resaw, then use a drum sander or widebelt sander.
