Looking for 1/16″ bandsaw blades

Does anyone know where to purchase 1/16″ bandsaw blades? I’ve been studying the “Master the Bandsaw” DVD, and now I want to add a 1/16″ blade to my selection, but I can’t see to find any. I’ve looked at several of the websites offering blades, but it seems 1/8″ is the narrowist. Any help is appreciated.

hey al,
some time ago i recall a similar post. the answers at that time said that 1/16" blades were not available. i, for one, have never seen anything narrower than 1/8". maybe you need to think about a scroll saw. are you doing some really tight radius work? i have scroll blades that are less than 1/16". an 1/8" bandsaw blade does allow one to make some very tight turns.

Thanks for the response. My wife has a scroll saw that I can use, but I wanted to work some material thicker than he saw would allow. I need to check with Sears, but I also need a 132" length. Seems I always want to do what isn't allowed. LOL I even get in trouble on occasion, but that's for a different blog.

I Googled for 1/16 inch blade and Sears had one. I believe it was 80" in length.
