   Check some of the back issues of Finewoodworking. I've seen them advertised in issue not more than a few years back.  In the shop I work at we have the Adler, which is a great machine. Hoffman makes on that looks identical and Virtux(sp) makes a less expensive one. I'd google search these names and see what comes up.  Hope this helps.

   You can make a router base to do the same thing as a lipping planer by mounting the router horizontal or vertical.

   There are no American made lipping planers.

   Hofffman, Virutex or the new Festool Router will do lipping.
