What's the term... knock kneed?
The picture's a little grainy, but it's clear enough to extract all the details you need. You'd have to pencil in the hidden details (sides, drawer construction, etc) but I think that it's completely doable with that picture.

As Chris said.
You have a lot of information to work with. Door height, doorknob height, stair handrail height, door panel glass.. Etc.
I'd start with standard measurements for the surroundings such as the door and the step rise. Make a grid using the door and it's features and sketch in your table and 'see' if the proportions seem reasonable.
I could be wrong, but, was not this table posted in here some time ago? At least something very similar to it.
As a side note. At first glance I did not like it for some reason. Not sure why because I have no objections to anyones style of craft. Then I thought it looked sort of like a wide smiling face as you would walk up the stairs.
I'd bet if I looked at it long enough I'd see something else.
I may make one like it for my oldest granddaughter (22? years old and an Art Student. She lives with me. Maybe she like the free rent). I asked her what she thought about the table in the picture.. In her usual manner, she said nice door, and started drawing it.. And a few sketches later she added the table into her renderings... I KNEW she liked it because she would never bother otherwise to add and then change it to the way she thought it should look. I'll get her sketches from the trash and make the one I LIKE!
Her first sketches.. The table looked about the same..
It reminds me of this thing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1czBcnX1Ww
That’s why I like it.<!----><!----><!---->
It looks like the kind of thing that might just walk away while your head was turned.<!----><!---->
