Why can’t I get Lie-nielsen on line, I want to look up their cat.
I use www.lie-nielsen.com and some other things come up, not their cat.

I before E, except after C....
The link in your message works fine. The spelling in your subject line does not.

Thank's Steve but I found it.

I had trouble with them when I used the link provided through Google, but if I went direct (same link) - no problem. Could have been time of day or perhaps LN was servicing their site but trying the Google - no Google experiment alternately several times had the same results. This was about 3 months ago
John
Google redirecting you to links you know exist is usually due to a spy ware on your computer. I had the same problem once, no matter what link I clicked I was redirected. Look up Spy-Bot and Ad-ware. They are too free ware programs that will get rid of any spy ware on your computer. Make sure your anti-virus is updated too.Jimmy W.
Perhaps, although Macs are famous for being almost invulnerable to spyware and adware. So much so that it's not worth the programmers time to write separate calls just for Mac. They get so much more out of Windows users. It's usually a Windows problem. In any case, my logged monitor on all cpu/disk/network/file activity would show it on OS 10.4 and also any attempt to install any would be very difficult thru Macs firewall and my redundant secondary firewall. I would still look to Google and it's attempt to monitor for further sales leads. I don't allow Google to have any cookies on our cpus. Were you on a Mac when you had the problem? If you were, what was the name of the spyware? Unless a Mac is running Windows or terminal Unix, there are only a few spyware programs that can be installed ( covertly or otherwise) on a Mac but only physically at the computer and usually by parents for monitoring children on only outgoing network traffic . Those that aren't are nothing more than virus scanners and act at desktop local. I'm not saying it couldn't happen but if you found a program, I would like to know it's name.John
Ahh lucky you, I wish I could get rid of this microsoft paperweight. I'll probably get black listed by Bill Gates just for writing that.As far as the virus, don't remember what it was exactly, wasn't actually on my PC but my friends. I didn't know why Google was redirecting at the time, but I found out from a friend later what was doing it. I never even fixed it, just told him how to do it.One of these days when I have 3 grand to blow, I'll pick myself up a nice Power Book and external HD screen, until then I'll just have to suffer through with this 2003 Dell. Ugh.....Jimmy W.
You don't have to spend near that much. Try Apple's on line refurb store at
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=44BD9AA1&nclm=CertifiedMacYou can a get a book for a little more than 1600.
The screens...well they have some of those also.John
Hey thanks, didn't realize they sold refurbished equipment. Still going to be a while till I can afford one, but eventually.Jimmy W.
Hi John I also had trouble, but when I used Lie-Nielsen Toolworks Inc. as the address I had no trouble at all.
All the best Jack
