Does anyone have experience with the Lid-Stay hinges in Rockler’s catalog? I’m building a stereo cabinet with a hinged lid to access the turntable and they look promising…just wondering if they worked well.
Thanks,

I added them to a toybox that was my stepdaughter's, probably a dozen years ago.
They work fine, holding the lid in any position. The number of them that you need to use will depend on the weight of the lid.
Mine was edged ply, probably 2' by 5', and I used three.
I won't be laughing at the lies when I'm gone,
And I can't question how or when or why when I'm gone;
I can't live proud enough to die when I'm gone,
So I guess I'll have to do it while I'm here. (Phil Ochs)
