I have the 1 1/2 HP Grizzly Shaper. I made a fence/guard assembly I like, includes dust collection. But I realized I would still feel safer on some cuts with one of the plastic (ABS, Lexan) disk guards that have a ball bearing (3/4″ inside diameter for my purposes) and sit on top of the cutter stack. The inside of the bearing rotates with the cutters, so presumably most of the time the whole disk does too, but if you fell against the disk the bearing would let it stop spinning.
I see them in use on videos, but I can’t find any place that sells them! I usually make things like this, still could, but by the time I machine the plastic and put the guard in it, it seems this could be worth buying ready-made. Any clues where to look?
Thanks,
Bob Wilson

Delta 43-440 might do the trick, it's 4 1/2' dia. with an inside dia. of 3/4 on the bearing.

That looks like just what I want! Thanks!
