I orderd the bench last Tuesday and it arrived today three days ahead of schedule. I orderd the bench with the cast iron leg set. The shipment arrived very well packed and in great shape no ripped cardboard or holes. The leg set is flawless and very heavy also very well cast. The bench is of very high quality and looks great, also very heavy. The vises and bench assembly were put together with care and everything fit flush. The vises work with out a glitch and very smooth. It only took about an hour to assemble the bench. The hardest part was getting everything up three flights of stairs.

The only flaw with the bench is that one of the stretchers for the legs has a split running with the grain. I am sure this is something that happend after inspection. I am confident a call to Lee Valley will get a replacement sent out asap.

Overall I rate this bench a 10 for quality and fit and finish. I also give the twin screw vise a 10 very smooth and hefty same goes for the standard vise. I am very pleased with my decision to go with this bench.
