about a year ago I called Laguna in search of table inserts for my Laguna LT16 that was made by Meber . The service department said that Meber didn’t make those anymore and that I was out of luck. I was bummed out to the max.
About one month ago I called Laguna and asked if a source for table inserts had been found. A individual named Tim said that a source had not been found to make them but that they would make them in house for me out of that high density plastic. I was surprised at how pleasant he was as I had not found that type of service before. I told Tim that there had been several negative reports on Laguna in Knots chat room. He told me that Laguna had gotten rid of several bad apples in the service department and was trying to improve. He also said that he was trying to find the people that had bad experiences with Laguna and see if he could fix whatever problem they had encountered.
If you have problems with a Laguna product either present or past, I would recommend that you call Laguna and ask for Tim. They sent me two table inserts for free to try to make up for my past bad experiences.

I recently purchased a Laguna band saw and the service could not have been better, not to mention several follow-up phone calls from Steve Alvarez. Easiest saw ever to set up.
I have had nothing but a good experience with Laguna service and support since I bought by LT 16HD 3 years ago.
Similar high quality service from Felder and Festool BTW.
