Booker T Jones released a new CD in April. It is called Potato Hole and is currently #3 in Amazon's R&B - Soul category.
Will,
Green Onions is one of my favourite songs that I can listen to continuously (along with SRV's Little Wing and Layla, the live version). Did you ever hear how it got it's name? I believe that is was Booker T who named it because he thought it was the most disgusting thing he'd ever heard.
EDIT: It always reminds me of the scene in Blue Brothers 2000 where Elwood is giving the motivational speech to the rest of the band after their car runs out of gas (the song plays in the back ground)

I believe that Steve Cropper was an original member of the MGs and played guitar on Green Onions. I think that he was also a cast member of Blues Brothers and Blues Brothers 2000 movies.
Maybe you are a Steve Cropper fan?
Frank,I believe that you are right about Steve Cropper. I can't say that I'm a fan though. I'm not not a fan though, either.Chris @ http://www.flairwoodwork.spaces.live.com and now http://www.flairwoodworks.com)

I am a big fan of the old Stax stuff.
How is the woodworking going?
Frank,I'm getting a fair bit done. I just finished a table leaf I built on commission to match the client's leaf-less table. It's not the type of work I'm looking for, but a job all the same. Luckily for colour-blind me, he's agreed to do the finishing (read: colour-matching). With nice weather and long daylight hours having arrived, I can now get back into the all-night outdoor woodworking routine. Last night, after getting home from the day job at 4:45, I immediately started carving a box and finished at 10:15. Unfortunately, I had to move inside at 9:30 because it was getting too dark outside. That was a very nice way to spend an evening. I should have the box posted to my website soon, probably this evening or tomorrow.Chris @ http://www.flairwoodwork.spaces.live.com and now http://www.flairwoodworks.com)
