I’m trying to clean out a pole building full of stuff I’ve saved over the years and have 7/42″, 11/54″ and 3/78″ Jorgensen I bar clamps, model 7201 I will gladly give to anyone who will come get them. I bought them years ago at auction when the local school district discontinued woodshop. They were badly stored and have surface rust, but can be resstored easilly enough with a wire brush and a little elbow grease. I have a bunch of them I cleaned up that I use regularly. I gave as many away as I could, and now am ready to donate them to Habitat for Humanity if no one wants them bad enough to come get them. I’m not shipping them, so don’t ask. All, or any number, free on a first come – first served basis. You folks at Knots – I don’t get over here very often anymore. Send me an e mail. The clamps are located in Roy, WA, about 20 miles East of Olympia. |

Damn! I live in NY and i would gladly pay to ship them....
JIM, I feel as Spalted does, but my middle daughter lives in Eugene OR. does that work? I will even consider a donation to your favorite charity. After all you can never have enough clamps. Peace, Pat
Jim, my sister lives in Tacoma.I might be able to get her to take a drive. Email at [email protected]. Thanks, Tim
Jim,
Your Good Act has prompted me to offer something similar. I have a Record smoother and jack plane that I have always hated. Now I have LVs but offer the Records free to anyone who has the inclination to upgrade the blades and cap irons, as oft recommended in FWW and Knots, to make something of the things.
I will even drive to any place within a 25 mile radius of Galgate (Lancaster) England to deliver, as it's a trip out. Or email me and arrange to collect.
Lataxe, digging in the loft for more.
