I have recently changed my jointer blades using a magnetic gauge. Checked all squarness reference points as usual. However I am getting slight sniping at about one inch from the end of the board. This occures even when I make a concious effort to put all my pressure on the front of the outfeed table as I should be. I never encountered this before. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong??

Sounds like your knives are too high/outfeed table is too low.

Slowly raise the outfield table until the snipe goes away. Then check to see the jointed edge is straight.
The snipe comes from the extra letter in the word Joiner
