Hello I have just joined.
I am trying to track down a magazine article that described various ways of joining MDF using biscuit joins, dowels etc followed by performing load tests to compare the strenght of the join. I can’t remember the publication (possiby ‘Woodwork’ by Ross Periodicals).
Has any one come across the article ?

I think in the last year there was an article in FW.
I remember it wasn't science-tiffic. They stacked FW issues on it until it broke.
Someone here, can maybe tell you the issue number. I'm stuck at work.

Check out issue #154 of Fine HomeBuilding, April/May 2003. Jim Blodgett's article. MDF IS HEAVY AND DUSTY, SO WHY WOULD ANYONE USE IT?
may be the one you're looking for.
