I have a 27″ bowsaw that I am learning to use better and better each time I try, but I only have the two blades (rip and crosscut) as illustrated on page 102 in the current (#202) issue. The author of the article, John Nesset, is using a similar bowsaw in the photograph on page 101 but this bowsaw has a very thin blade in it.
Can someone lead me to these much thinner blades, please?

Bill,
Thanks for your question. I edited that article and I'll give John a call next week (we're closed for Thanksgiving) and ask if he remembers the blade.

Bill,I spoke with John and here's what he told me. He bought his blades from Garrett Wade. So you can check there. He then advised that if you can't find what you're looking for pre-made, just buy a bandsaw blade with the desired number of teeth, hook, and width and make one yourself. Just cut it to length, and then drill the necessary holes so it can be mounted in your bowsaw frame. I did that for a frame saw I made and it's not that hard.Hope this helps. Good luck. Thank you Matt and please pass on my thanks to John. I will investigate Garrett Wade, but like the idea of using a bandsaw blade.Regards,
