I need buffing wheels for my Jet sanding/buffing machine. It has a 1 inch arbor.
Any ideas where I can find some?
Thanks,

Do you need wider buffs than will fit on the 5/8 " threaded part of the shaft?

Don,
I should just start emailing you directly. You have been a great help.
Well you just shifted my paradigm. I thought I needed a one inch center hole, but, no, you are right. The 5/8" hole will work for the typical buffing wheels. Since I use a two inch sanding mop on the one inch section of the arbor, I assumed (I know) I should use a buffing wheel with a one inch hole.
I happened to have a buffing wheel with a 5/8" center. Fits like a glove.
Thank you for asking the question.
However, if I ever do want a larger/wider buffing wheel, do you know where I could get them?

I got mine from these folks. Scroll down the page and find the sets of wheels where you can select your arbor size.
Is that a great tool or what? I have two and find them indispensible. I hate to think how many hours I have on them and they just keep going and going.

Wow! I had been to that exact website and page, but did not see the drop down on the arbor hole size.
Thanks again. By the way, what all do you polish/sand/or buff with your machine? Right now I am doing Shaker oval boxes.

I make bar knees (corbels) for some cabinet companys, I use the 6X9 inflatable drums on one machine and keep 3 grits of sanding mop on the other.
I use them so many hours a day for sanding that I built a couple of dedicated buffers for the times I need to buff.
Did you get the stand and dust kit?

No, not the stand. didn't know about a dust kit.
Alan
I'm not sure the dust kit can be had without the stand. The stand and kit cost as much as the machine but it was worth every penny for the dust collection.
