It has been a very long time since i hav been on here… There used to be a gentleman that did full reviews of tools, (got a tool and built something with it) He had a woman usually help him and he documented every step of the build on his web site with pictures and such. I was wondering if anyone knows who i am talking about or better yet the website???.. Thanks in advanced

Sounds like John Lucas at WoodshopDemos.com He has all kinds of stuff on his site, and has just come out with a new CD-ROM of PDF files, a few thousand files. He contributes at WWA, and I really enjoy his posts, but his web site doesn't seem to have any internal links so I have trouble doing much there.
thanks... thats it.......... I couldn't remember which forum he was on so i just posted on a few different.... i have been out of the game for about 5 years, took a little break to make a little money in the oilfields, but i am back behind the comfort of my trusted power tools now, thanks forest girl
"...took a little break to make a little money in the oilfields" I had a beau in college who did the same, only in Alaska. Up there, the payroll dough just piled up, as there was no where, no way to spend it!
If you re-register at WWA, note that there's now a Scrap Pile forum, for non-woodworking topics. Welcome back!!!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
