Thanks for all the help getting an image in here. Now let’s see if it works. I downloaded Irfanview and put the image in there and resized as suggested and decreased the pixel size. It is a picture of my shop—(18x 24 inside—total building is 24 x 32). My wife and I worked 2 years to build this. I agreed to adding the porch to seal our deal. No plans—6 x 6 posts with morticed nailers and bottom sill. It has hardwood floors (oak ash and hickory) that we cut and planed from our woods. The 3/4 planks are hand nailed with square nails over a small crawlspace where I ran heating ducks etc. Outside is tongue and groove pine siding painted to match our barn style red home. Our lot is 2 acreas of woods with the house and shop in the middle. I like the privacy. The sliding door at the far right covers lumber storage, furnance and my planer—among other things. Now that I can get an image in here—I hope—I will take a few shots of the inside and post.

It woked, but the image is still a bit large -- near 1 Mb. Try for 100k or less. You'll make a lot of folks happier if you do.
Nice shop, but what're all those chairs for? When do you have time to sit down in your shop? ;-)

Mike---those are my "Norm" chairs. Made those about 10 years ago. Nice place to sit with a cup of java--when it's raining---contemplating---something. Plus I'm a tool and die maker---and we get tired easily.

SJ,
Here's the resized pic Mike was talking about. See my discussion re. Let's clear the air posting Pics to Knots in General Discussions. Instead of using pixels I suggest using inches in the Irfanview Resize dialogue box. Hope that will help.
Also I noticed that the file is a .BMP file which is a Windows file type. These files tend to be large no matter what you do with them. I would suggest JPEG as these files are more compressed images and thus are generally smaller.
There are lots of nuances in Windows/Knots and I've tried the make it easier for all you folks.

What a beautiful building and setting! It's wonderful! Can't wait to see the other pictures.
SJ, there should be a setting on your camera that will cause it to save pictures in a .jpg form rather than .bmp. See if you can find it. Even at the highest quality, .jpg pics will be smaller in file size than .bmp But, as Bob says, you can convert them in the editing process. Just use Save as and indicate .jpg If they give you quality categories, pick the second from the highest quality, that should get the file size down to a manageable amount.
Thats real nice use it in good health!
