I am ready to install a panel ( 21″ x 35″) with the glued lumber running vertical into a top and bottom piece that run horizontal. I think a remember a show where Norm said not to glue the panel in solid to allow for exp/contr, but I seem to recall that he did say to put a small amount in each of the 4 corners of the panel. Any feed back would be appreciated. Thanks—WW 57

plywood panel or solid wood?
solid wood pieces into one large panel
If this is a solid wood panel, don't glue it at all. You could theoretically put a few drops of glue at the middle of its width (not the corners!) but I much prefer other means of keeping a panel centered if that's your concern. Use those little foam balls, or pin the center from the rear.
