Will,
Your girls sure are lucky.

How old are the girls? I might be concerned about nightmares of being eaten by dragons. ;-)
They are both from China. They have always been told that they are adopted children and your mother is not a bad person. We think she misses you ALOT!.
Now have to figure out how to use a sewing machine!
The cloth is actually from Japan!
As to the little girls being afraid of Dragons... No issue on the subject. They have been taught that in China a Dragon is creature that watches over little children and protects them... In China, a Draggon is NOT evil! OK, maybe some we do not know about...
They like draggons!
The cloth is beautiful. Where did you find it? And sewing machines are amazing pieces of work. They last forever and work beautifully if you remember to oil them.

We might have to trade sewing tips. I took up sewing to make covers and the like for my boat. I do OK, but I can't sew a straight line to save my life. If only that thing had a rip fnece!!!
>Straight line<Snap a chalk line and sew to it or use a straight edge and dress makers chalk etc. I have an old treadle. New Denver brand. In a nice old solid oak floor cabinet with drawers. I don't recommend this. It is nice to have an electric with reverse for back stitching but I do like my treadle and it is a seriously useful tool as well as a nice antique that looks good in the living room.rocGive me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe. I have an old treadle..
My mom had one and she would get REALLY upset if she caught me and my brother (or is that my Brother and I?) trying to see how fast it could go.
I for one had a sewing machine needle go through a finger as a child. I read somewhere that some say it is impossible to rember pain. I DO! And the needle broke off into the bone.
Will,As the kids would say " you are so rad " ! As in radical.Ouch ! ( well that was an understatement )>some say it is impossible to rember pain. I DO! And the needle broke off into the bone.<I think they may be talking about not remembering the pain of child birth otherwise there wouldn't be many kids around.Obviously I don't have a clue about what I am talking about so I will shut up now.rocGive me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.
