hey peter,
i’m here is ct as well. quite a few years back i a bought campbell hausfeld classic finish hvlp sprayer with the air supply unit and the gun. apparently the machining on the air/finish mixing nozzle isn’t good and it’s difficult to do much better than orange peel effect. a good even finish is very tough. do you know if there is a replacement nozzle piece or even gun to use with that finisher unit?
thank you,
greg

Greg,
I would suggest you contact the manufacturer or a site like spraygunworld.
They'll be able to give you more info than I can.
BTW, where in CT.?
Peter
thanks peter, i'll try those resources.
i'm in wallingford, work in southington and have played adult pick up hockey until a few years back. mostly at choate, but also played a time or two down at the whale.
have a great day,
greg
Greg,
Is it possible we skated together at some point? What position did you play?
PG
we may have skated together. i generally played forward, preferably center. i wondered that myself. the choate bunch was a good group of guys, in fact, my dentist still plays there on thursdays. it generally ended with february. i don't remember why i only played at yale once or twice.

Way back, I played at Choate. That was one cold place to play.
The group at Yale I play with is the afternoon group. Ever hear about it? We have Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. It is a very good group. There are days when we have three lines and two sets of D. My slot is Thursdays.
Last week I got invited to play in the Yale Alumni game. Talk about a fast skate! Many of these guys are only a couple of years out of college and some with pro experience. The pace is very quick as are the shots. I somehow stopped three breakaways. We, the blue team , won by four goals. I think I was way more surprised than any of them. It was a lot of fun to have D that really knew how to play the game.
If you ever want to join us let me know. The ice there is very good.
Peter
that must have been quite an experience. i've seen and played with some young guys like that, it's very exact and fast paced. you must do very well to keep up there. my hat trick is off to you. if i think about playing i'll be sure to check in with you. thank you.
