I am not making family heirlooms, just bottle stoppers for christmas. The Hut gives a decent finish but was curious what people do to get the best out of it.

Far from a expert on bottle stoppers.. Well, except for corks in my wine bottles....
How about the Beall wood buffing system.. I do not have one but has used it.. NICE...

Finish on a stopper?? Food safe or just the top? Still thinks should be food safe.. Just me
Since the things I am doing are already on a lathe, I want to finish them there. I was hoping to find some tricks like "wait a day and put another coat on" or use nylons to buff with or something similar.
You could do that...just remember to take them off first!Ron
