I haven’t been a member of this web site very long and so far it seems that I have been corrected more times about where the info i seek should be in a different area of the web site. I use the general discussion category because I feel I am casting the widest possible net for information. Some have even given me what they feel is the correct computer address and I’m not sure but one of very recent messages(HVLP) was moved but that’s a guess. Regardless, I’ll probably continue to cast the widest possible net. It is unfortunate that a few of you fine cyber etiqeuetests feel you have to correct any and all so called miscues in what appears to me to be an information chat room or maybe more appropriately FORUM. Please stop correcting me afterall I’m seeking information and I don’t care if I happen to be in the correct category.

you should post this in the cafe.
He he.
>> ... I don't care if I happen to be in the correct category.
Yep, yep, yep. That's definitely the right way to get people to want to answer your questions. That's like saying, "I'm just trying to get to work and I don't care if I happen to be driving the wrong way on a one way street."
One of the requests you may have missed on the Knots entry page is, "Post in the appropriate folders. Housekeeping is not our strong suit." It's not just a few fine etiquettists harassing you. Posting in the correct folder is one of the rules here. And the bit about housekeeping means the moderators are perfectly free to move a misfiled post, they'd just rather not have to.
Why do you think posting in the correct folder is one of the rules? One reason is to allow the people who might have the answer to your question to find it easier. If you post an HVLP question in the Finishing folder, then it will be more likely to draw the attention of the people who have HVLP expertise to share than if it's one of a multitude in the General Discussion folder.
Another thing you might want to think about is that posting a message like this is very much like embroidering, "Kick me," on the seat of your trousers.
Go to http://www.homesteadfinishing.com and ask Jeff Jewett. Better yet, use their finishing forum.
