I have a pretty hefty Craftman Jig Saw, (3.5 amps) that I was getting ready to trash because of the way it cuts. Then I read an article on how blade quality will force a band saw to drift. The light came on; maybe its the blade and not the saw!
Can anyone tell me where I can find quality HP blades for this saw. Bosch makes one but, not one to fit my saw. I need a U-shank with a hole for a set screw.
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

The "t" shank blades should fit. The blades you are looking for do exist if the "t" shank will not.

The blade does help much, make sure its sharp to reduce drifting.
Ron,
Bosch does make their Progressor blades with a U-shank. They're not easy to find however. Whenever I find them, I stock up.

I have seen those, in fact I have been in touch with Bosch but, their u-shank blade doesn't have the set screw hole in it.
Not sure if that matters but, I would think so.
