Wasn't it Will Rogers who said, "There ain't a horse that can't be rode, and there ain't a Forest Girl who can't be throwed?"
Sorry to hear about this if it's true. Let us know if you hear anything..

If you see a possum running around in here, kill it. It's not a pet. - Jackie Moon
Maybe you can check out the other posts, Wonder Woman, I mean FG has had viral menangits for 2 weeks. Swears she is on the mend and I hope she has no other complications. I really think she is looking forward to a splinter or two real soon.

I was thrown from a horse last year. I got my foot hung in the stirrup but the horse seemed to buck even harder. My life passed before my eyes.
Fortunately for me the Wal-Mart manager unplugged it before I was seriously hurt.
I just got off the phone with her. Her DSL modem went ka-put. She's been out getting a replacement and trying to get it hooked up. But otherwise she's fine.

Hey Sparky et al., I'm here and fine, though grumpy from not having DSL (eating breakfast now with free WiFi).
Important Note: I did not come off a horse. Harummmfff! Too funny. At my age, that's not an option and I do everything possible to be sure it doesn't happen. I am back to riding my usual 1-2 horses per day, though the sessions are foreshortened some until all the energy returns. Am not expecting any longterm complications from the viral meningitis.
Thanks for checking on me!!! Len and I are working via long-distance phone to get my Unisaw switch wired properly and working. Kudos to him for being so knolwedgeable and patient!
You'll love this, even though you didn't take a dive. My brand new Step Grandson has gotten his new stepbrother into rodeo. They are riding Sheep. Quite a funny site to see. And not so far to fall!!Work Safe, Count to 10 when your done for the day !!

UhOh, look out! They're only a steer and a nice bull away from this:http://pbrnow.com/ I'm a pretty big PBR fan, go see 'em every year when they come to Tacoma.
I think I've seen a couple of videos of kids riding sheep, it looks like great fun (if you're a kid, LOL). I've never been fond of falling off, but have certainly a few times, both on the flat, and when jumping (younger days). Worst incident, and the one that killed my career for several years, happened when the horse was tied up and I was grooming her. Dumb young mare I had in training, she spooked, knocked me down flat on my stomach, and then fell across my back. Didn't break anything, but created enough soft tissue "distress" that it was a disaster.
forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)

If I think I know Forest.. AS think I sort of do.. Never met her! As sick as she was,, I'd bet she worried about her horses and her hubbie! more than her!
Men never understand what a perfect woman is.. She is your lover and Friend (I think friend is the best!)
