Hi Peter,
I bought some tools from a friend and he gave me 6 gallons of MOHAWK high solids lacquer (satin #610-0607). I uploaded a JPG for reference, it is titled mohawk_610.jpg.
I have asked a few professional wood workers near me if they wanted it, but no one I know sprays finish. Do you know this product? Can it be used with out spraying? I don’t really want it but I want the space it takes up in my garage.
The friend I bought it from has very high standards and I’m sure this is an exceptional product. But only If I knew how to use it…
Best,
Craig

Craig,
This is a basic nitrocellulose lacquer that requires spraying. You may be faced with the same problem he had; what to do with it.
Finding someone to take it off your hands is now your problem. Is there any cabinet shops around? They may take it although most shops use catalyzed lacquers now.
You may also consider calling Mohawk directly and find out who the rep is in your area. He may be of some assistance although I can't guarantee it. If someone does take it off your hands I don't think they will pay you. But, you never know.
Good luck.
Peter
Great suggestion Peter. Thank you for your response.
