   What I would like to know is how much wood could that wood chuck chuck if that wood chuck could chuck wood

   It would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

   You take a nice photo but it would be more useful in giving you accurate instructions if we could tell which pieces were threaded etc.

   In Pic. 1146 the piece on the right is the main part, the one in the center goes over that and holds all the rest of the parts together. Those are the only pieces with the tread.
   The chuck came with instructions when delivered but those got lost in the last 25 – 30 Years. I hoped to find some one who would still have a set.
   If you don’t have the chuck I don’t think you would know how to use all the different parts for different set ups, especially the pieces in 1149.Hilmar

   The parts look very similar to my Record chuck. Look at the instructios here and see if they help you any.
