I was bombing around the net a few weeks back and found a link to kiln drying services/businesses located in Maine…I didn’t save the site and can’t seem to locate it again. Anyone have the link?
Thanks

DJK- thanks for the link. It worked well, however it looks like it has a somewhat limited database, as it only return 2 listings, one in NH and one in VT. I know of at least a few in Maine.
You could also use a phone search engine or even the real yellow pages. Try a search on maine lumber industries in general. All methods will turn up different information. As cool as the net is everything is still not all linked to find through one method. Tons of stuff isn't on the web and may never be so the old research methods will always have merit.
Did you see my answer in the Cafe???

thanks for the replies...guess I may have to resort to the old fashioned means of finding info, reluctant as I am.....hate to do that when I know the site exists somewhere on the web....just a matter of finding it
...by the way, for anyone that utilizes kiln drying services: what do you typically pay per b/f? (I realize this will vary, just looking for a ballpark number)
If you are using internet expoler you can use the history button. If it's been to long, you can go to tools:internet options:settings:view files. Then scroll right, click on last accessed date and it will organize everything (and i mean everything) you have clicked on since it was last cleaned. Look around the date you remeber seeing it and one might ring a bell. Hope this is helpful.
