My local hardwood plywood supplier (in Seattle, WA area) is asking approx $100 for a 3/4″ X 4′ X 8′ sheet of maple or cherry A/A grade plainsliced plywood. This seems like a lot of $$ for this material, but I have never bought high quality hardwood plywood before.
Can anyone validate these prices as being average? Thanks.

depending on exactly what grade you got and if you are on a wholsale pricing rate with the supplier or if you were basically a retail customer ?
For the best I can get it is in the $85- 100 per sheet range .

Payed that much for 1/2 sheet of A/A sided Jatoba! Good buy I thought! Nice ply. at half the price!
I've paid nearly $100.00 a sheet for most domestic hardwoods for at least ten years.I do not know if the prices have changed since 2006. I haven't done much since I retired. There is a big difference from the top of the line to the crap the box stores sell.

I bought some 3/4" A2 plain sliced red oak, Norbord brand, a couple of weeks ago, $86.
I paid $120 for 3/4" prefinished cherry ply. Flat sawn on one side and quarter sawn on the other.
Sounds like the prices I was quoted are in line with what everybody else is paying, give or take. Thanks everyone for your time.
