Hello everybody I was wondering if anyone knows of a good hardwood dealer in the Phoenix AZ area. Places like woodcraft are pretty pricey. I am looking for the usual suspects (Oak, ash, cherry etc)
Thanks
Troy

Doesn't it just burn up and then rise again from the ashes in Pheonix?
I think it becomes dust in Phoenix:)
You can try Woodworkers Source on Elliot just west of Kyrene or Timber Woodworking in Mesa. Both carry a wide assortment of wood. Good luck.

Check out http://www.woodfinder.com . It often pulls up sources that are hard to discover otherwise, like the small cabinetmaker who sells really prime hardwoods from his barn. (Not AZ, just an example.)
Good idea, Thanks

Timber Woodworking on Southern in Mesa has an amazing selection and about the best prices in town. There was a place in Chandler just south of the airport called Chandler Hardwoods, with really big selection and very low prices, but last time I was there they had lost their lease and were moving out on I-10 somewhere near Firebird Lake. They used to be incredibly disorganized, but the new location is supposed to have more room with better display capability. Keep looking until you find them; it will be worth your while. Meanwhile, Timber is a close second if you don't mind sorting through lots of not so good lumber to find the pieces you're looking for. Ask for Alex.
Thanks
Hey, Troy
Try Lane Stanton Vance at 480-736-3999 and talk to Steve, I think you will be happy with the prices
Thanks
