Hi. Does anyone know if the natural wood vapors from a gun cabinet made from cedar will cause any harm / deterioration / reaction to the guns’ metal? Or to any internal working parts of a gun? Thanks to all in advance.

pizza,
really? pizza?
anyhow, i have worked with several different types of cedar. nice stuff. if it is dried and not green i don't see how cedar would be any different than any other cabinet wood.
best of luck,
eef
While I don't have any specifics, I'd be hesitant to use any wood that emits any type of vapor, due to potential chemical interaction with the metals in the guns.
Check this site for the selection of woods they offer:

pizza,
Don't know if the vapors are corrosive, but I'd wonder if the fumes might soften the finish on the stocks. Some finishes will not cure on aromatic cedar.
If commisssioned to build a cabinet in cedar, I'd seal the interior, at least, with shellac.
