I just picked up two sets of 15″ planer knives from the sharpening shop. $49.50 or 55 cents per inch. I see Grizzly has a blade grinder for up to 20″ blades for $210.00 plus shipping. Has anyone used or bought one? With a jointer and 2 planers it would pay for itself in no time.

I had one of the dry grind ones. Terrible! Don't bother, get the makita wet grind. It acutally works. The grizzly runs at 3500 rpms! guess what happens? They could actually make it work well, but they built a real sucky support of stamped steel that is impossible to adjust. you can work with it, but just find the makita on ebay. I sold mine when i bought a byrd shelix head. Got about $2.00 for it on ebay, but that is just my luck i guess.
