Despite my marketing showing my furniture work, most of my clients and their interests have been in cabinets and architectural work. While I like and have done this work before, I haven’t tooled up to do a lot of it. Mainly I lack air sprayers and air nailers.
I’m about to start acquiring air nailers (16, 18 and 23 gauge, plus a stapler). I saw an ad for an 18 gauge Grizzly H6332 gun for $29.99. Tools this cheap are often not worth it, but sometimes they are. Grizzly didn’t do too bad in a recent (Jan/Feb 2004) FWW review of brad nailers, so I thought it was worth a post to see if anyone out there has experience with the cheaper Grizzly brad nailers.
So far I’ve spent 6 hours researching compressors, brad nailers, HVLP and airless systems. It’s been time well spent while waiting for a new arbor for my tablesaw. But I need an up to date book on outfitting a modern woodworking shop!
Sorry for the rambling post. Too many review articles and tool catalogs, not enough coffee (or beer).

I purchased a grizzley brad nailer 18 ga. several years ago. don't remember the # it shot 2'' brads. ,Kept braking off the driver. I drove a lot of brads in solid oak, that might have something to do with draking off the drivers.
I have other grizzley machines and have had good luck with them.
Have a nice day Lee
It's worth a try. When I first started woodworking you couldn't buy a finish nail gun for under $500 never mind a replacement driver for $29 dollars. I don't think a lot of guys have any idea how low prices are and the amount of tools available compared to 30 years ago.
For $30.00 plus shipping ya can't loose to much.. Go for it...
EDIT:: I tried one of them cheepo electric ones.. DO NOT BOTHER!

I went ahead and ordered one. I'll try it out in a couple of weeks, and update this post with news of my experiences with it.
