Hi Garry I need to glue some oily or non porous woods together like African Black wood etc. What is the best adhesives to use? I have heard that Weldwood is satisfactory, can you tell me what adhesives are good. Thanks Mark

Mark,
Mark sure your surfaces are cut cleanly and recently before gluing. Oily woods should be wiped down with alcohol to clean them. I have successfully used PVA glues after doing this. But plastic resin glue will also work.
