How does a person interpret the expiration dates on glue bottles? For instance I have three bottles that have the following codes. 4C5268, 6J548 and J51008.14. Also, do all manufacturers use the same code?

When checking drawers or any square "box" construction for square I measure to see if the opposite diagonal corners are the same length. My question is: Now square is square enough? Most to the time my diagonal length is within one or two 32nds of being on target. Is this good enough, or some I spend my time a sanity on trying to get both angles perfect? If perfection is the target, are there any short-cuts, tips, etc. which might make this easier?
