Does anyone know if they announced the winners of the Christmas gift contest yet?

I can no longer find the link to the contest on the web page I have to google to find it. I’m curious to see what won.

I really wanted one of the "Tom Tom's" so I could keep track of myself.

Comming very soon. The editors were choosing winners yesterday. Here's a link to the contest if you want to browse all the entries.

Matt, I'm getting an error message when trying to view some of the pages:
"Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 2359296) (tried to allocate 6144 bytes) in E:Web Productionapache sitesfinewoodworkingsystemapplicationsitelibrariesMY_Validation.php on line 206"forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Matt have the gift contest winner been selected? I would love to see what won!
They have. We had links in last week's eLetter. I'll nudge the editors to post something about it in the blogs. Until then, here are the links:

Great picks. Both are worthy... Though as a father of twins I suspect that my boys would spend more time biting each other than chewing food...
Thanks all for the sweet words about the high chair. I was so honored and . . well, flabbergasted! to have won! I really only entered on a whim and when I called my mom to tell her I had won, she asked what the prize was and i couldn't remember! Just really never imagined I would win!
As the mother of twin boys, they don't really bite as much as they do pull each others ears and try to steal each others food. They have certainly made the finish look . . well, "period" very quickly!

I've been thinking about renting the boys out to distress furniture... I've got a table I made a few years back and yesterday I noticed a large gouge out of the top. No easy task considering most of their toys are soft.
P.S. There were a lot of great entries. These types of contests are always difficult because so many people deserve to win.
Matt thanks for the update. I agree there were to many winners and not enough prizes.
I'm glad the highchair was one of the winners. It was one of my picks.
Unfortunatly I'll never be able to judge a contest like this as my taste leans so heavily toward period furniture, that's all I would pick.
Talma,
I don't drink tea but really like that Piecrust Table. Your daughters sgould have a great time with it.
Man, along with yours there are some really nice entries in that contest. Didn't check the Gallery but hope they're all posted in there as well.

A Woodworkers mind should be the sharpest tool in the shop!
Bob, Thanks for the kind words.
My girls are 29 and 15 months old. So far that table has been used for everything, and it's holding up well, but if it makes it a year without a major repair I'll be suprised! I'm also amazed at how well the wax repels playdoh.
Of course I'm hoping my gift is selected as the winner but there's alot of other entries that deserve to win as well. I don't envy the judges, they have a tough choice to make.
