I purchase a plane at a flea market. The plane is a Fulton. On the top of the blade it is marked Fulton Warranted. It looks like a number 6 plane?
I looked on the net for Fulton Plane and all I find is Fulton Planes, Draw Knifes at antique locations.
Can anyone give me some information on this item and company.
Thanks Lou

Lou.... if memory serves me correctly, both Stanley and Sargent made the Fulton planes. Look at the lateral adjusting lever. If it has a twist in it, Stanley made it. If the end is an upside down 'U' the plane is a Sargent. In either case, clean it, tune it and let the curls of wood fly. It is not realy collectable but it is a USER!
