All of the forums hosted by Taunton were out of commission on and off today after our technology host MZinga experienced a systemwide meltdown with all of its customers. It looks like everything is back to normal but just for the record this was not intentional or planned.

Matt, sounds from your post like all our stuff goes through their servers? Could this be contributing to some of the clogged-pipe experiences I seem to have when reading and posting? How are their resources holding up? (I know you can't answer that question, but had to ask.)
FG,
A close fren of mine runs the computers for the Arizona State University. First day of school, and everything is poised to be high useage etc. A rat found a way into an old tunnel, and got to eating on some wires. Well those wires fed the power to 80% of the servers and the network system on campus. Result, one fried rat, one giant meltdown for the servers, and a 26 hour shift putting it all back online!
And we think we have it bad keeping a PC up and running.. ;>)
