I want to cut flat-bottomed slots for keys in mitered box joints I would like the slots to be just the width of a table saw blade. Which blade grind pattern will give me a perfectly square bottom cut? Any recommendations on brand?

Two possibilities:
1. Buy the finger joint blade set from Freud and use just one of the blades which will give you a slot about 3/16 inch wide.
2. Call Forrest 1-800-733-7111 and tell them what you want. If they don't stock what you want they will take an unfinished blade and grind it to your needs for the price of the same blade with a conventional grind. Since the cuts will be shallow, you will only need a 7" or 8" blade which will save you some money.
