I am making a set of Oak end tables using a web frame of Poplar for the interior support system for the drawers. What is common practice for finishing the interior web frame? Should I leave it unfinished since it won’t be visible or is there some other recomendation?
Thanks.

Hello bb,
Simply leave them unfinished. Possibly a light coat of wax to improve the sliding action of the drawer, but that would be all.
