I’ve sanded a piece from a conifer tree to 2000 grit with a rotary sander. Should I seal it with anything?
It’s for inside use.

Yes so it won’t stain when you put something on it and you can keep it clean. Make both sides so it won’t cup as much.
Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve got Osmo door oil, do you think that would be suitable? Or I might have some lacquer.
Sand a patch on the bottom to the same level and color test there.
