I’m building a couple of outdoor benches of port orford cedar. My understanding is that it doesn’t really require finshising if I’m okay with it weathering. The thing is, I’m not sure what this material looks like when it weathers. Has anyone had experience with using this particular wood in outdoor furniture and what would your recommendations be as to finishing or not?
Thanks

Yeah, orford cedar has natural weathering feature. It will turn silver greyish in color if you let it stay as is.
