I posted this over on the “Far Side” and nobody came up with the answer, so I thought perhaps you kind folks might be able to help me out…..
My “new” cabs have Euro-hinges, the little plastic do-hickey covering the adj. screws says “Capri”
The hinges seem pretty standard, cup in the doors, sub-base & base on the cabs…..but, I can’t make out how the sub-bases are attached to the cab. carcass—no phillips screws, and they don’t have the “ears”. Pull off the base and you can see little slotted somethings that seem to hold the sub-base to the cab. I tried unscrewing one, but just started to bend the slot.
Anyone know what these puppies are????
Any help would be appreciated. I’m converting a base cab into a pull-out trash can, & would sure like to not leave the hinge bases in there……

Several cup hinge manufacturers have an attachment method which is a plastic dowel with ridges on it. The ridges are somewhat barbed. The mounting plate is installed by just ramming the dowels into appropriately-sized holes. There's no intention of removing it.
