Entertainment center for flatscreen TV

Does anyone know of a good design for an entertainment center fashioned around a flatscreen TV. I don’t care much for the design recently featured on Wood magazine. We are thinking someday of getting a LCD or plasma type flat screen TV but I would like to ge a head start on building an entertainment center for it. Thanks – Tom

I ahve a flat screen computer monitor. I hide it behind a picture on the wall. The picture is mounted to Bulm full extension drawer slides. I slide the pic horizontally and use the monitor. slide it back and the monitor is hidden.
You could do the same with a TV and make a nice piece fo furniture to sit below the picture to hold DVD,home theater stuff, ect.
