Anyone know the codes for Baldor (or any, I’m assuming) electric motors.
I’m considering a couple different motors that are new old stock and I can’t determine rotation or whether reversible.
I’ve seen the data plates and it isn’t noted there but there are some codes there that I don’t recognize.
Thanks, motor guru’s.
Edit: I should have mentioned I’ve been on Baldor’s site and e-mailed them for info., no reply. The motors I’m looking at aren’t in their online database.

That web page is a chart of all of the NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) motor size-codes -- actually they are called "Frame Types".
Although that chart has a huge amount of data, you should be able to find the frame type you need.
Politics is the antithesis of problem solving.
Thanks all, I was trying to figure out if one of the letters on the data plate indicated direction of rotation and whether the motors were reversible.Baldor got back to me and gave the info I was looking for. Apparently these motors are proprietary to two manufacturers that use them in their products. Hence the information isn't available on their website as their "stock" motors.
