Has anyone tried the Earlex 5000 sprayer. If so, what is your opinion.
Also do you see a difference in these two items.

Just click on episode 45, "Music to My Earlex."
Interesting video. He seems to like it (for the price). Other units cost so much more.
Thanks
the only difference I notice is that the HF description only mentions one needle compared to the Woodcraft description which includes 2 needles. Approximately $50 per needle. It could be an incomplete description on the HF site.
I would send HF a note and, if their kit includes 2 needles, order it from them.

Thank you all. I really appriciate the input.
I will call Horror Frieght tomorrow.
I have the Earlex 5000 and am very happy with it. I moved up to this unit from a less expensive HVLP unit. My main reason for selecting the model 5000 is that it uses the exact same gun as their $700.00 system known as the Earlex 7000. The quality of finish is the same between the two unit unless your spraying the thickest of products, such as Latex paint which I don't. The optional 2.5mm needle and tip are supposed to handle these on the 5000 but may have difficulty totally atomizing the Latex without thinning.
