WOW!

That shop sure ain't my dream and the price is way over it's value.
Philip
I agree. WOW! wish I had the funds and an empty shop.

You'll notice that there are no bids, with only a day left to go. My bet is that there won't be any. I think he has it priced at about double its worth. I have most of the same equipment plus some things he doesn't have (like a shaper and a WHOLE lot more clamps), and I ran a quick pricing on his based on what I paid for mine. I could only come up with about half as much as he's asking.
Comments?

Well, seller is including shipping to the lower 48, that's an item of consideration there. It's basically a full truck load, I'd estimate.Pity he's not going to piecemeal it, I'd like to get my mitts on the vertical belt sanders.Leon Jester
Shipping wouldn't be that much. Schneider national bid me $2300 to ship a 30,000# barn kit from WA to WI. That Shop probably would weigh in at around 22k. He is most likely asking that price to cover the restoration costs, as that ALWAYS ends up way more expensive than buying new. I'd safely go about $17-19k plus freight. I'd even fly out and pack it up myself. If I were going to spend that kind of money, I sure as heck wouldn't take any chances on shipping damage.
Tony
Haven't had motor freight quotes in quite a while, Tony, so I'm way out of date.I agree with you on the costs of re-habbing -- I'm still sitting gingerly from the last encounter with Delta several years ago.As I said before, pity he won't piecemeal it. He'd probably realize more than he will selling it as a package.Regards,Leon Jester
I remember this very same shop being for sale a couple of years ago... some pics I don't recognise, but the rest are identical... What's the chance of keeping even an unused shop looking so pristine....???

Stay safe....Have fun
Looks like a guy who bought out a high school woodshop at auction. Then had too much time on his hands refurbishing it all.
Funny to see all that machinery and that little dust collector to suck it all up
The only thing dreamy about that shop is the PRICE. Granted shipping would be high on that much iron!
Mike
There was a reason for the " " and "be the first to bid" or whatever it was I wrote LOL. Some nice stuff, though.
That shop of tools has been for sale on ebay for over a year now. It started out around $50k. Way over priced for what's included.
Jeff
The have some good stuff that people would bid pretty good prices on, I don't know why they don't break it up and sell them individually. Usually the sum is great than the whole and you'll get the high value by breaking it up than selling it as a whole lot. Forget about price, how many people will want to buy all that stuff? Only a woodworker will be interested and who as a woodworker doesn't already have tools that they are selling?
My tools haven't looked like that since they came out of the box. What is that place, a museum for Delta tools?
He doesnt list the building in that price any where,I have been watching it for about a week now.I really need some more space.
