I was just looking for a web site called “Dizzy’s Shop.” It had a great article (which fortunately I made a copy of) on how to fix the free play in the height adjustment of a Jet contractor saw, and fix it if it doesn’t hold. Went to find it again, patch in a missing page, and he’s gone! Anyone know if that info, his web site, is around somewhere???

Can't help with the website, but I have been fighting that problem with my saw. I would love a copy of that article ifyou don't mind.
Glad to send it. Email me your address (click on forestgirl for email option) and I'll send a copy. There's a page missing at the end, but I think there's plenty to get you through the process.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Hi! Just got the article copied and into an envelope, sorry it took me so long. You'll see the last page stops in mid-sentence, but I think there wasn't much after that, you should have the stuff that helps you deal with the problem.
