I am looking for plans and techniques to build a with breadboard ends and turned legs. I’d also like some tips/techniques on distressing the wood and finsh. I am planning on using some old heart pine or chestnut.
My wife has been looking at antique tables and it’s amazing the price they command.

Well the fastest way I can think of to distress a Kitchen table is to invite my family over for dinner! I would think that about two application will do it unless you want it to look like it belongs in the junk pile. :)

You have seperate areas to build, top, apron and legs.
Not an expert on breadboard tops, so I won't comment. It would essentially be a large cutting board though.
The apron is simple, just copy your current table or something you like.
