Has anyone put a Wixey or similar digital readout on the Sawstop Cabinet saw?? This would be the remote readout usually used on a router table to check the depth of the bit. I was thinking of using the same set up to check depth of the blade. Thanks for any help>

No responses yet, so I'll throw this out: Give a call to Sawstop tech support. There's a good chance they'd know if more than a couple people have tried this.
You could also email Wixey. The do all their communications via the internet, being a 2-person company with no receptionist.
I did it on a MiniMax combo machine. I expect that it should be fairly easy to do an a typical saw.
Forest! You are still alive.. HI!
I am sort of tied up bulding a very large doll house for my sister-in-laws, sons, little daughter! A short term for that? I have made many in the past. I forgot how much work is is!
One thing I know for sure is that metal will cause a saw stop to go off. I would unplug the machine before doing this just in case. Probably always a good idea really but I know I don't unplug a machine always when I am suppose to.
yes. I put a wixey on my ics and it was very easy and works very well. it is important to have your fence set up and adjusted well. read the fence assemble instruction!!
