Hello…..
This is my first post here on the tool forum so please forgive me if this question is out of line.
I am looking for the old Delta Plate Joiner Model #32-100.This is the table model that is foot actuated, does anybody know where I might find one.
I think Delta discontinued this machine a while back, not sure thought.
I have had no luck on the web so I am hopping some body here may be able to give some insite.

Discontinued some years ago but there's ways to duplicate it with a small shaper or bench mounted plate jointer.
I did not realize that the Delta 32-100 was discontinued. I rigged mine with a hand pull handle instead of the clunky foot peddle. This is an inspired piece of machinery. I learned on an old Freud hand held, the Delta is a superior unit to use for production work, much quieter, easy to adjust, better dust pickup, etc. The only other machine like it was made or handled by Colonial Saw (which is the exclusive Lamello dealer I believe) and it is really pricey $$$$. You might try the bigger mail order houses and see if any has just 1 more left on the shelf, oe E-Bay.

Your question may be unusual but certainly not out of line. Since there's a lot of different plate joiners available these days, I am guessing you want the Delta for a specific and perhaps unique reason (which I wouldn't mind hearing, by the way). At any rate, I think I have seen that machine at a local tool store a few years back.
Considering how the store is run, I'm almost positive it is still there. I say this only because one time they had a Delta DJ-15 6" jointer that was partially disassembled with a light coat of rust on the beds. Sensing a bargain, I asked the owner for the price and I was shocked to be quoted a figure that was double Delta's current 6" jointer and approaching that of the DJ-20 8". When asked to elaborate, she said that unit was from when it was made in America, not China like the current ones. Still, it seemed exorbitant to me. So I guess this may be a type of place that is more interested in getting its price than moving merchandise. A lot of you probably know of a place like this where the aisles are cramped, merchandise is stacked floor to ceiling, and it's more tool museum than tool store.
I'll check into it tomorrow for you to confirm the model number and get a price, but perhaps be prepared to pay like-new price and of course shipping if you are not in Southern California. E-mail me if this interests you.
I just went to the tool store today and indeed they have the 32-100. Unused, but been sitting around for a while. They quoted me a price of $300. I'm not sure if this is a good price as I am not familiar with this unit. There is no box or instructions, so I cannot be sure if all the parts are there. There is a foot switch, however. If you want to call them directly, the store name is Tool Stop, 261B S. San Gabriel Bl., San Gabriel, CA 91776, (626)287-6878. Let me know if this is of interest to you.
